This may be old news but he hasn't announce it in the blog yet. He has a new handphone and it has been very appealing to Dinie. Now, there is music that will accompany Dinie on the way back home or in any other situations when Dinie is bored. He also likes some of the functions in his phone that will help him be a bit more organised. He really hopes that it will be more of a motivation and a tool that will benefit him rather than a distraction from his studies.

Dinie is studying about politics in History and China Studies. The different ideologies and policies can be very confusing. However it is the politics going on around him is the one that is troubling Dinie. There are so many things to worry about and the different groups, fierce rivalry and "bitchings" are all giving Dinie a big headache. Somehow Dinie is involved in it and it is making him wonder a lot about his position. Even though there are unrests, there is still some things to cheer about. He hopes that the things will die down soon and it'll be much more peaceful even though it will hardly be the case.

Yesterday, Dinie's class, 119, participated in interclass games. They played softball and handball. However, there were some "sway" things that had happened.
Dinie played handball with Aznor, Le lin, Jacintha, Trudy, Cindy and the last minute substitute, Eugene Chua. They played well with the support of the class. It was fun as they won the first game. But somehow, Mrs George got involved and ruined the momentum of the game.
Firstly, she told another class to play against us. 119 handball team played and scored a goal, working tirelessly to play and have fun. However, their actual opponents then came in and played against them. In the end, the fresh opponents managed to score a goal. So, it was abit unfair for 119 as they thought they should have drawn at least. Furthermore, Mrs George said Dinie's dribbling was not allowed and disallowed Eugene's goal. But nevertheless, they had fun so results was not so important.
But now, Dinie is starting to think about his class. He is asking himaself whether the class will get separated like how his previous class was. The thought of being a repeat student is not pleasant. Being withdrawn is even worse. Dinie had been through a lot that he doesn't want any of his present classmates to go through.
Dinie wishes for everybody who reads his blog to really think through on what you want to achieve in the coming promotional examinations. Dinie is scared stiff about it as he himself is not fully confident about promoting. Many might tell him not to worry but Dinie knows himself that he hasn't been working as hard during this period of time due to personal problems. He hopes he will succeed. And he hopes his friends will do the same.
"Study smart and diligent now so we won't regret it. To 119 ppl, let's help each other out. If u need help, ask around cz our classmates are a bunch of nice ppl who are willing to help. I admit I may not b a good role model or a good class rep but I really really really hope I can urge all of u to study hard and dun repeat yr year in YJC. It sucks. There are a lot of things that will happen and I do not want u to go through it. Pls lets all be in 219 next year ya?"

The YJC soccer team had a friendly tournament earlier today. It was the second time they've played any 11-a-side match together. So, they weren't fully prepared for it. However we played relatively well and improved from each game. We lost twice, then drew then won the most important match for them. Dinie is happy at the way the team played. Everybody played their parts well. He is also proud of the way he played. He thinks that the red bull he drank helped to give him energy and wings to glide around the pitch. One of his teammates told him that he could be the "Man-of-the-tournament". But Dinie knows that it is very exaggerated. He played well by making his presence felt on the pitch with numerous tackles and passes. But there were other better players.
The tournament's champion is Serangoon Garden Secondary school. Even though they were younger than their opponents, they played extremely well and at times, it seemed as though JC students were ridiculed by these young talents.
We "qualified" for the 3rd-4th placing match with AJC. They drew with AJC initially but their fighting spirit showed and YJ soccer team won the game with a crucial goal by Alvin aka Thierry Henry. In the end, the team ended the tournament on a high note. Hopefully the team would improve themselves even further.
It has been an exciting day. He hopes everything goes the way it should.

Dinie is quite anxious about the friendly tournament he is going to have tomorrow. He is excited, but/and hopes he will be able to perform. Dinie is wondering whether his lack of sleep could contribute to any poor performance. For this whole week, he had about 14 hours of sleep within 4-5 days. It is not healthy for him as he has been involved in many activities. Such as soccer trainings, silat lessons that he had recently took up and a couple of religious classes each week.
Nevertheless, Dinie feels he is a strong man. He should be able to sustain with better time management.
It seems a number of his classmates noticed that Dinie has been abit quiet or looks sad. It may be due to his tiredness. He hopes he can brighten the mood of the people around him even more. So, there is not a need to worry about Dinie.
Inter-class games will be on soon and he realises he will be playing against 134. So, will he challenge or give way to them? Let us see what happens...

Its 2am in the morning and Dinie has decided to update his blog. It has been 3 consecutive days that he's been sleeping at 3am in the morning. The reasons why vary but one of the stupid reason was yesterday night where he accidentally stayed awake to watch "40-year old virgin". He was so sleepy but when the show came on, he just watched till the end.
Anyway, Dinie would like to share that he is now taking Silat (Malay martial arts) lessons. He took it to accompany his brother and just for fun. The instructors are National Silat representatives and it is obvious that they have the passion in the fighting aspect of Silat while Dinie is more keen in the artistic aspect of it. Nevertheless, the instructors had a good impression of Dinie, for some reason that Dinie himself doesn't know, and they're looking forward to seeing Dinie next week.
Dinie passed his Physics test. He wasn't so confident at first but in the end, some effective last minute studying and good teaching methods by Ms Koh has contributed to Dinie's score in the Physics test.
Ok, so Dinie realises that he needs to work on his grammar. And also for the upcoming History test on SEA Communism. He hasn't even started studying it yet and he has soccer training so, most probably, he would not have the time to study.
He could study now but his brain is beatting like a jackhammer and he's in a very bad state. Health, spiritual, economical too...
So, anyway, Dinie wishes a happy Bday to the August babies that he knows of.. Especially to Yi Wa... Looks like your Bday's tmr.. Hav fun n good luck for your Prelims ya?!

Dinie would like to wish Singapore a happy National Day!
He would also like to apologise his last-minute back-out from the sentosa outing. He had to go Malaysia to visit his great-grandmother. Yes, she is still alive. She is too old to track down her old she is and when's her birthday.
But here's her sad story. She has amnesia. She can't remember anything or properly respond to people talking to her. She used to be taken care of by one of Dinie's mom's aunt in Melacca. But they could not take care of her anymore so most of the aunts and uncles came to a consensus to pay a hospital to take care of her.
So, when Dinie visited her with his family and grandmother, he was shocked at her condition. She was strapped to a wheelchair. She kept wriggling free but she can't. Furthermore, she kept shouting random stuff like calling out for her husband and other things which we could not comprehend. Even when we tried to talk to her, she responded by keeping quiet and then, shout out of the blue to noone. It was really sad, especially to Dinie's grandmother as she was looking at her mother at such a bad state. We went back to Singapore afterwards.
So, now for a more better event that happened around Dinie is that his younger sister had been accepted to the Singapore Sports School. She entered through Netball which her primary school achieved second in the National tournament. She lost to the same school again that her team lost to last year.
So Dinie is very proud of her. She is very excited about it. Dinie's parents and his sister are at the Sports School to sign the papers and confirm her stay in the school as Dinie is updating his blog. Zahirah, Dinie's sister, is a very passionate netball player and Dinie hopes she can accomplish many things during her 4-6 years there.
This makes Dinie realise that he will miss Zahirah. He will miss the times when Zahirah comes to him in the middle of the night to ask him questions on how to do math, science or English questions that she has. He will miss her stories that she almost always have to tell during dinner time. He hopes it will turn out to ok for Dinie and his family.

Yesterday, Dinie had detention in the hall. It was very hot. He expected it to be in the library, so he came into school with a jacket. So, he was sweating as he entered and attempted to study in the hall. He pitied those who had to study for SSP in the hall earlier as it would have been even hotter for them.
Afterwards, he watched the movie "Disturbia" with his family. It was a great movie. He recommends the movie to all of his friends.
So, now he is left with alot of homework to do and things to study.
Lastly Dinie would like to clarify that he is not involved in the bet that Basith and Shawn have. The loser of that bet would have to ask a female classmate out for a date. If they got the same marks for the test, Dinie will not be the one asking.

This is Dinie's blog.. It has not been updated for almost half a year. So, Dinie has decided to start updating his blog back again. He hopes he can still carry on with this process soon.
Regarding the Anonimous issue, Dinie admits that he was lame and apologise to the people who had been wrongly accused. He promises that he would not do it anymore. He will be truthul.
Currently, Dinie feels the pressure that he has to do a lot of homework and needs to study for the upcoming China Studies Test. He feels he can't complete all of it. He is quite stressed out. But he is trying his best to convince himself that he will be able to complete the tasks at hand.
He only needs to do:
- Math tut 2.2, 2.3a, 2.3b
- History essay
- GP mass media essay
- China studies test
- Word bank book
These are some of the things Dinie remembers that he needs to do. Once he can remember others he will start doing it too.
Thinking positively, Dinie will be goin for detention on Saturday so he should be able to use that time wisely to complete a bulk of the homework that needs to be done.
Once again, Dinie apologises for his lameness of being Anonimous. If anybody wants to tag, its at the bottom of the blog. Just scroll down.
Thank you and Have A Nice Day(HAND)!
