Dinie feels that he wants do a re-make of his blog. He feels it is starting to get boring so he is deciding on making a new blog format/template after the promotional examinations are over. So, he will start studying now. Even though he's still distracted by fantasy premier league.

Dinie realises his blog had not been updated frequently. He is finding it hard to manage his time. The promotional examinations is about 2 weeks away. He is nervous. He does not know what to do. But it is good to hear that people have faith in him to do well for it. He hopes he would be ready by then.
There are many things going on around him. There is a lot of pressure on Dinie to perform in what he is doing but also to do more. He feels that his body is taking its toll. Lack of sleep is evident from his panda eyes. So, he went to see the doctor just now. He should be taking a rest over the weekend but he will still be doing some work for a mosque in Orchard to help out in the fasting month.

The dinner last saturday was happening. Everybody ate with Ms Koh and some of us trying to find ways to hide the money, pay it, and many other things. Another highlight was the number game. Dinie had to drink the mixture 4 times. It was disgusting but everybody had a good time and had fun. Dinie would also like to congratulate Hafiz and Trudy for winning the free ice-creams.
After that nothing much happened other than 2-3 arcade games. Dinie played para2. That was his second time playin the game and it is with the same machine. However, this time, he got the high score. Dinie was amazed and shocked himself. He danced for fun and those who watched him would agree that he just had fun moving his hands and turning round and round.
The next day was another interesting event. Dinie celebrated his cousin's birthday. The celebrations were normal but it was what happened at the end that got everybody's attention.
Dinie was watchin tv. He was too engrossed in the show that he didn't realise something had happened. After the show, he wanted to say how funny the show was when suddenly, the whole house was empty. There was no living soul in the house and Dinie was a bit scared and confused. He then realised that everybody was outside loooking at a commotion that had happened. He saw all his relatives and family members were surrounding a boy and a chinese man. The man clenched his fist around the collar of the boy's shirt. It was really scary. He was shouting at the boy. Dinie's uncle was right in front of the two. He had 2 different slippers in his hand. He too was shouting at the boy.
Dinie found out from his cousins that the boy and his "friends" threw slippers down from the 13/14th floor. One of the slippers landed on Dinie's uncle's car. He thought it was an accident but another slipper fell down that missed him and the car. He was very angry and a neighbor, the man that held the boy's shirt, caught him.
Back to the story, everybody threatened the boy about vandalising property, scaring him by mentioning all the type of punishments he could receive for doing his stupid acts, asking him why he got no life doing stupid things like that, and many more.
Even his "god-mother" who seems to be Dinie's age was questioned. The boy said that he didn't throw any of the slippers down. He only helped in taking the slippers. But everybody told him that he is an accomplice to this thing and that he has to learn his lesson. They called the police to settle it.
Almost everybody scolded, shouted and questioned him. Even Dinie's younger brother was an active person in dealing with the boy.
Furthermore, when they asked him to call his friends who were involved, those who threw the slippers down, he told them he does not have their numbers. It angered them even more. The thing is that he lives at bedok and it happened at pasir ris. He claims it was his first time that he has done it but there were numerous cases of lost shoes and slippers. It was complicated.
Dinie realised that the boy was scared stiff. He could hardly move. So, it was weird but Dinie suddenly made a move and talked to the boy. If Dinie remembers correctly, this is what Dinie said,
"Friend, can call you Marcus or Chee Ming? The things is we are not here to ask money or whatsoever. What you did was wrong and we want you to learn from it. You also don't like it if we steal yr slippers and throw it away right? We are peaceful people just do not want any problems so we just want you to know that what u did was wrong and we do not want you to do it again and disturb us or other people."
It was something around those lines, but Dinie is the only person who didn't shout at him. He was just a 13-year-old boy who was just confused.
Soon after, the police arrived. And the police settled it. Dinie stayed around for a while to hear what and how the police dealt with it but it was about the same as what had happened earlier. The only difference is that they went to see the family of the boy at the 10th floor.
Dinie then went back in and soon, Dinie's family had to leave. Just when Dinie was about to take the lift at the same place as the incident, the police and the boy with a lady related to the boy came up and knocked on the door of the guy who held the boy's shirt. The boy complained to the police that the man punched him in the eye.
The man told the police he didn't. He said he only held the boy's collar and punched the wall beside marcus's head to scare him. So, it was another problematic thing that happened. But the man did prove that he held the boy with his left hand and punched the wall with his right. So there was no way he could have cross-punched the boy on his right eye.
Anyway, the boy was let off with a warning.
Oh ya, Dinie's mom lost her slippers so she had to borrow a pair of slippers from Dinie's cousin. Dinie looked at a place where the boy had claimed his friends threw some slippers.
Beside the block, there's a 3-storey shopping centre. The scary thing is that Dinie saw some pairs of shoes at the top of the shopping centre and it could be anybody's.
Dinie went back after an interesting afternoon.
He apologise for suah a long entry but hopes that readers would enjoy reading it.
