It has been some time since this blog has been updated and here it goes.
One thing that happened during that time was that there was a testimonial match between the current JC1 Soccer team against the JC2s. One of the reasons why Dinie has decided to stay on in YJ is because of the soccer team. Even though he was a sub, he enjoyed being the sub. It was really fun for him to be around and watch them making and having fun with each other. Now that its time for the JC2s to move on and work hard for their A lvls, he is really going to miss them.
The match was a 3 period match of 25-30 mins per period. Dinie happened to be in the starting line-up. He played OK at 1st. And it was quite fun playin with them. Dinie played centre midfield, a position which he is not used to. But he seemed to play it rather well alongside "Joe".
He didn't play in the 2nd period though. He played in the third period and this time he played as an Attacking midfielder. He played ok. But somehow, he seemed lost somewhere in the middle of the game. Think Mr Fauzi noticed it and then he pushed Dinie to Left Midfield and he managed to perform again. Overall, it was quite a fun game even though we lost 4-1.
Oh ya, and something happened which quite pissed Dinie off. He wasn't that angry just irritated. About two days before that, the JC1s had a training session to get them more prepared for the testimonial match. Everything went smooth. At the end of training, we did our cool down as usual. However the different thing about this cool down is that the soccer boys had a sharing session. They gave each other comments on what's good and bad bout each player and how they can improve themselves.
When it came to Dinie's turn, it was said that Dinie has been consistent, which is a good thing.
But......... Roger then said...
"Too bad academically he's not doin well"
Everybody were stunned when he said that. They all didn't expect Roger to say something like that. Dinie just.... Ya, couldn't do anything. Everybody said "Walao!" and all.
Then Roger said, "I bet $100 that Dinie won't promote"
Another comment that stunned everybody. Dinie was like Huh?!?!
Yup, then evrybody were like "Walao" again... And Soon, really wanna thank him, said that he bet $1 wif Roger that Dinie will promote. He then advised me to really work hard for promos.
So, with that said, Dinie is determined to work hard for promos. He may still seem abit laid back but he will do his best.
Now, he has a number of things that can distract him. He hopes that he can overcome them and really study hard for promos. To everybody in YJC JC1, good luck for yr promos...
